Marketing Excellence Award for Hotel Indigo

The Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf-Victoriaplatz wins the Marketing Excellence Award at the Hotel Star Awards in London.

Düsseldorf, March 15, 2018 - IHG is honoring hotels and employees from all over Europe for outstanding achievements in various categories.

  

The Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf convinced the jury with innovative and successful marketing ideas. As a fashion boutique hotel, the hotel relies entirely on the connection to the

2 Fashion metropolis Düsseldorf. In addition to cooperations with exclusive fashion partners, the hotel maintains close contacts with designers and bloggers. Regular events take place at which national designers give an insight into their work and exchange ideas with influencers in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Since summer 2017, the Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf has been directly addressing not only its guests but also its neighbours in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort: With its own district newspaper "The Neighbourhood Story", the house succeeds in creating a close and excitingly staged network with the district. The design was developed in cooperation with the Rheinische Post publishing company.

 

In London, Director Katja Schnabel and Karolin Grun, Sales & Marketing Manager, received the Hotel Star Award on behalf of the entire team. "We have already received so much positive feedback on our actions, especially on our 'Baby', the neighbourhood newspaper, and we are delighted that word has spread all the way to London. A consistent marketing concept with the courage to come up with new ideas leads to long-term successes - this is what the jury of the Hotel Star Awards rewards and this is a great incentive for the whole team," says Director Katja Schnabel.
